AdvisorProfessor Morgan is Head of Haematology at ‘The Royal Marsden’ Hospital, London and Head of Molecular Haematology at the Institute of Cancer Research, London.
His academic work is focused on the genetics of Leukaemia and Lymphoma in particular how polymorphic variants affect the risk and outcome of cancer post transplantation.
Other areas of interest include the biology and treatment of lymphoproliferative disease, with specific reference to Myleoma. A feature of this programme is translational research integrating new therapeutic strategies with novel ways of defining their application and monitoring of outcome following treatment.
Professor Morgan has a wide experience in the design and execution of clinical trials together with data interpretation and analysis skills. His experience relates to a range of different trials from Phase 1 – 3 and in particular the integration of diagnostic tests to define treatment groups together with molecular monitoring following treatment. He has experience with a range of chemotherapy and BMT trial groups within the UK, Europe and the USA. |
